FAQ

Tourist tax

Since January 1, 2018, the new rates for the sustainable tourism tax—also known as the ecotasa or tourist tax—have been in effect for all tourist stays in the Balearic Islands. This has resulted in the following changes. With the help of this tourist tax, both international and domestic visitors and locals who stay in tourist accommodations on the island will contribute to the preservation of the Balearic Islands.

€2/day + 10% VAT

Information:

1. Children under the age of 16 are exempt from the tax.

2. From the 9th day of stay in the same accommodation, the amount is reduced by half.

3. The discount for stays from November 1 to April 30 of each year is 75%.

Drinking water

Our Residencia Finca Son Pujol has a new water treatment system. Regardless of this, the owner accepts no liability for the quality of the drinking water, which is why it is expressly recommended to use drinking water in PET bottles from supermarkets for the preparation of hot drinks and food. This applies in particular to water for small children.

Power supply

Mallorca obtains most of its electricity from mainland Spain. This means that power outages can occur in entire villages and towns. At Son Pujol, we also have a self-sufficient system. However, even this is not always immune to outages. We therefore recommend that you consider a candlelight dinner, especially after strong winds or storms. :-)

Can I host an event at the finca?

Absolutely! We would be delighted to welcome you and your guests to Son Pujol. Yoga retreats, hiking tours, team-building events, birthdays, and weddings are particularly wonderful events to hold at our finca.

However, if you are looking for a party (Ballermann) vacation, that can be a lot of fun, but Son Pujol is not the right finca for that.
